Bjørnar Strand

Bjørnar Strand is 42 years old, married and has 4 children. He has worked with drug addicts for 15 years, including through the rehabilitation farm Sørum Gård in Trondheim. Now he is director of the childrens- and youth ministry at Bethel, and he’s the leader of the first year at Bit. Bjørnar has a burning desire for the Muslim world to experience Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and he and his family have been missionaries in Turkey for 3 years. One of the things that shines through in Bjørnar is his love for Jesus and people! Bjørnar has had the main responsibility to, on a weekly basis, take the students from Bit out on the streets of Trondheim, and together they have given Jesus to the city’s inhabitants. Some of his topics at Bit: Christ in Us, Mission to the Muslim world, Mission Outreach (MO, practical training in Trondheim).
